Are you looking to step up into a sales role with a fast-growing Australian online retailer?

We are looking for a full time or permanent part-time salesperson to oversee a portfolio of assigned B2B customers, work with the team to develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities.

For the right person, we would be happy to discuss working daily within school hours rather than full time.
Please note that due to the nature of the role –this is an office based position in Alexandria, Sydney.

Salary: up to $65,000 (DOE)

The Role:

  • Responding to existing clients and inbound leads.
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
  • Build a client database in HubSpot based on agreed KPI’s – this includes a stock take of all previous corporate clients and plans/strategies and tactics to identify segments to target and develop sales strategies accordingly. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Collaborate with the broader Country Culture team to devise strategies that can aid in the expansion of new clients, and explore ways to cultivate those leads.
  • Ongoing Competitive and market analysis to have a finger on the pulse of competitive offerings and what it takes to differentiate Country Culture and win new business in collaboration with the marketing team.


Commercial Growth:

  • Be comfortable and confident building relationships from scratch – including research and cold calling.
  • Build a pipeline in HubSpot (and LinkedIn) of corporate accounts and in collaboration with the broader Country Culture team
  • Understand how to price gift boxes hampers considering margins, fixed costs, shipping and volume discounts that may apply overheads (packaging and labour), postage and any volume discounts that may apply. Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
  • Work with new and existing corporate clients in developing proposals and executing these.
  • Digitally developing client proposals using an existing Canva template, while working in partnership with the warehouse team to ensure their timely delivery / availability.
  • Respond to proposals from corporate clients for ideas or fulfilment. Incoming requests are time-sensitive and need to be turned around the same day when possible.
  • Managing the corporate and customer database and corporate orders via CRM HubSpot and LinkedIn. - We are happy to train you to do this.
  • Delivering the best possible customer service with a view to growing and supporting long-term relationships.
  • Assess customer feedback to identify marketing solutions to improve the brand experience.
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed. Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to the team.
  • Ongoing training and mentorship from our team.

  • Demonstrated track record in meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Are a solid team player but highly autonomous, proactive and determined. Happy to learn and work within our processes.

Highly regarded: 

  • Proven work experience in sales or events executive or relevant role.
  • Some experience with CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel).
  • HubSpot CRM and/or LinkedIn Sales Navigator. (If you don't have this experience, we're also happy to train you.)
  • Experience in business development or category management selling into the corporate gifting, incentive or rewards market.
  • We would consider experience in other industries that can be applied.
  • Relevant Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Business / Business Administration or Marketing/Sales, but not totally necessary.
