Meet Alex Humphries and Carina Chambers who are the owners of Long Lunch Linen, together they built their table linen company in Tamworth, NSW.
Long Lunch Linen was born around the time Alex and Carina were also bringing babies into the world and when the girls aren't organising their children they enjoy entertaining friends and family, sharing recipes, sipping wines and running their business together.
As country makers Alex and Carina know the importance of home and they say that for them that will always be in the bush. A place where their kids can run freely, friends and strangers alike wave as they drive past and there's always room for one more at the table. This concept inspired the business as it came from needing to find a tablecloth big enough to fit Carina's large country kitchen table.
After moving from Sydney to the bush, Carina noticed there was a gap in the market for table cloths that were able to fit over large farm style tables. Long Lunch linen's table clothes range from 2.8m to 4.4m, and they also have a selection of round styles.
Mixing friendship and business can sometimes be challenging, however these ladies that have been friends for over 20 years make it look easy. Corina bought Alex into the company in 2021 and they haven't looked back since. They have brought their vision to life and assist in dinner parties, long lunches, and high teas all over Australia.
